Thursday's USDA cattle slaughter was 111,000 head versus a year ago at 109,000 head. August live cattle is trading at 113.32, down 0.62 cents/lb. October live cattle is trading at 112.12, down 0.92 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 112.77, down 1.12 cents/lb.
