U.S. Dollar Index Moves Down

The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.40, down 0.64. The U.S. dollar index is trading just above the session lows Thursday morning after Wednesday's late session decline. Market talk about global headline news and the U.S. economic data due out the rest of the week is making the rounds. The Department of Labor is scheduled to release weekly jobless claims at 8:30 a.m. ET. Friday morning the Bureau of Economic Analysis is scheduled to release gross domestic product (GDP) at 8:30 a.m. ET.
