The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.89, down 0.37. The U.S. dollar index is trading at session lows. The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) reported that average prices of single-family houses with mortgages guaranteed by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac rose 0.2 percent on the month in May versus a upwardly revised 0.3 percent rise in April.
