U.S. Dollar Index Trading Higher After Payroll Data
The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 96.58, up 0.20.
The U.S. dollar index is trading very choppy after the release of today's U.S. payroll figures.
Market chatter about the U.S. economy and today's payroll report is constant.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that nonfarm payroll employment rose by 287,000 in June versus a downwardly revised 11,000 gain in May, the unemployment rate rose to 4.9 versus 4.7 percent in May.
