April Gold futures are trading lower by $9.60 at $1244.70 in Monday's session. In pre-market trading, the bullion attempted to rally but peaked a few dollars above Friday's close ($1254.30), reaching $1256.70 before reversing course.
The ensuing decline has easily surpassed Friday's low ($1248.50), falling to $1241.20 before rebounding to its current level. Below that low, there may only be limited support until last week's low of $1226.
