Gold Rebounds From $70 Pullback Off Recent High

April Gold futures are trading higher by $22 at $1233.40 per ounce in Thursday's session. The contract had retreated over $70 from its February 11 high ($1263.90) as low as $1191.50 in Tuesday's session. After a small range on Wednesday, the contract once again dipped under $1200 but found support ahead of Tuesday's low, only reaching $1196.20 before rebounding to close at $1211.40. In today's session, it appeared to be going under $1200 again, but stopped shy at $1201.30 and mounted a furious rally. The rally has found resistance just above Tuesday's high $1236.30, before peaking at $1237.30. The highest close for the recent rally was made on the same day as the recent high at $1247.80.
