The September U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 97.18, down 0.54. Trading is choppy and up a little off the lows of the session.
Leading Indicator data for June came out up 0.6 percent versus an upwardly revised 0.8 percent in May. Earlier today, the U.S. Department of Labor reported that Initial Jobless claims fell to 255,000, the lowest for any week since November of 1973.
