Lean Hog Futures Lower

Friday's USDA hog slaughter was 383,000 head versus a year ago at 283,000 head. At last check August Lean Hogs were trading at 75.75, down 0.25 and October Lean Hogs were trading at 63.60, down 0.92. December Lean Hogs at last check were trading at 60.75, down 0.82. The USDA is scheduled to release monthly cold storage data on Wednesday July 22nd at 3:00 PM ET.
