Live Cattle Sharply Lower

Thursday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 112,000 head versus a year ago at 115,000 head. Live Cattle futures traded sharply lower on Thursday. Trading was choppy and some recovery in prices was seen near the end of the trading session. At last check August Live Cattle was trading 148.62, down 1.70 and October Cattle was trading at 151.12, down 1.87.
