Live Cattle Futures Move Up

Monday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 111,000 head versus a year ago at 115,000 head. Live Cattle futures opened steady and traded mostly higher during the trading session. Some general buying was occurring near the end of Monday's trading session. August Live Cattle was trading 152.17, up 1.50 and October Cattle was trading at 154.77, up 1.52.
