Lean Hogs higher

Monday's USDA Hog slaughter was 420,000 head versus a year ago at 378,000 head. Lean Hogs traded choppy and firm on Monday. At last check August hogs were trading at 83.35, up 0.85 and October Hogs were trading at 73.45 up 0.82 .December Hogs at last check were trading at 69.70, up 0.47.
