U.S. Dollar Index higher

The U.S Dollar Index is trading higher Tuesday. The June U.S. Dollar Index is trading at 98.82, up 0.54. U.S. Consumer Confidence for March came out at 101.3 versus 98.8 in February. Market chatter about possible comments from Fed members today is making the rounds. The Atlanta Fed holds its' 20th Annual Financial Markets Conference at Stone Mountain, GA. Fed President Lockhart is speaking there also Kansa City Fed's George will attend the Council for Economic Education in NY in the later this afternoon. Market chatter about U.S. employment data later this week is just beginning.
