Tuesday's USDA Cattle slaughter was 108,000 head versus a year ago at 116,000 head.

Live Cattle futures traded a little higher Tuesday. Trading was choppy with a fairly narrow trading range. April Live cattle was trading at 162.15, up 0.80. June Live Cattle was trading unchanged at 152.97. August Live cattle was trading at 150.30, up 0.07.
