U.S. Dollar Index Lower Ahead Of Data On Thursday
The March U.S. Dollar Index is trading lower at 94.29 on Wednesday ahead of U.S. economic data due out on Thursday.
- Weekly initial jobless claims are expected to be 294K vs. 283K. Continuing claims for February 14 are expected to be 2400K vs 2425K.
- CPI for January is due out and traders are looking for a decline of -0.7 percent vs. -0.4 percent in December.
- Core CPI for January is expected to show no change.
- Durable goods orders for January are also due out; traders are expecting -0.5 percent vs. -3.3 percent.
