The U.S. dollar is trading higher against Japan's yen on Tuesday. The USD/JPY is trading at 119.53, up 0.62. Trading has been firm.
There is a lot of chatter about a Nikkei news story out of Japan regarding relations between BOJ governor Haruhiko Kuroda and Prime Minster Shinzo Abe. The story reports the relationship is under some strain. Politics are now and have always been part of the USD/JPY market talk.
Chatter about today's testimony by Fed Chair Janet Yellen is likely to take center stage later Tuesday morning.
