USDA Hog slaughter for Wednesday was 431,000 head versus a year ago at 413,000 head. The USDA Monthly Cold Storage report will be released on Thursday at 3:00 PM ET. Trading was choppy today in Lean Hogs. February Lean Hog settled at 72.35 up 0.57. April Lean Hogs settled at 74.22 down 0.45. June Lean Hogs settled at 84.15 up 0.47.
