Live Cattle Futures Lower

February Live Cattle is down 1.17 at 162.42, April Live Cattle is down 1.50 at 160.92 and March Feeder Cattle is down 1.875 at 215.17. On Thursday, February cattle traded down to a $6 discount to the cash market. The cash market can catch up rather quickly if the futures are leading the cash. Beef prices Thursday were $255.01, up $2.26 and $6.11 from last week.
