China GrenTech Announces Second Quarter Financial Results

China GrenTech Corporation Limited

today announced its unaudited financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2010. Total revenue for the second quarter was RMB370.4 million (US$54.6 million), representing a RMB52.8 million or 12.5% decline compared to the same period last year. Cost of revenue in the second quarter of 2010 decreased by RMB39.2 million (US$5.8 million), or 12.3%, year-over-year to RMB278.2 million (US$41.0 million). Operating expenses increased by 2.2% to RMB78.4 million (US$11.6 million) from RMB76.7 million in the same period last year.
