USCF Investments: Commodity ETFs Provide An Attractive Alternative In High Inflation Environment

Benzinga recently hosted its first virtual event focused on investing in Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), dubbed “ETF: Unlocked”. Sponsored by Traders Accounting, the event brought together important thought leaders in the space to share their expertise and discuss current and future trends for 2023.

One of the featured participants was Kevin Baum, CIO of USCF Investments, a leading provider of commodity and alternative ETFs. The company has a suite of products, including single commodity, broad basket, and income focused strategies.

Speaking of the macro trends of the market today and the positive outlook for commodities, Mr. Baum stated, “We’re seeing on the supply side, OPEC has cut production, so they’ve removed some supply out of the market. We’re seeing Russia cutting production as well which lowers the supply of these commodities in the market, and then on the demand side, China is reopening. The government has loosened up some of the restrictions on these lockdowns…We're seeing the green shoots emerge.”
