Hulk Hogan Talks Cannabis, Will Launch His Own Brand: At Age 69, 'I Feel Better Than I've Ever Felt... Like I'm 25 Again'

In the theatrical realm of professional wrestling, where physical prowess is celebrated and tenacity rewarded, one titan often reigned supreme, riding high on the waves of fame and respect: Terry Eugene Bollea, better known to the world as Hulk Hogan. However, his journey to and within stardom wasn't just about executing suplexes and leg drops; it was also a test of resilience against relentless physical tribulations.

"Apart from the fame and the roaring crowds, there lies a stark reality," Hogan confides during the TMZ Sports TV show. "I didn't get the memo that this stuff was 'fake.'

These words reflect a reality often glossed over by the glitz of the wrestling world. Indeed, beneath the fanfare lay a punishing reality: countless injuries and a grueling 28 surgeries over the last decade. Yet, like the Greek heroes of old, Hogan faced these trials head-on, his spirit unbroken.

Hogan's Little Secret

"I've had ten back surgeries, kidneys and two hips. It's a situation where you do get hurt out there all the time," Hogan admits. Despite these daunting challenges, his determination never wavered. In fact, he shares, "I feel better than I've ever felt at 69 years old. I feel like I'm 25 again."

So what's the secret behind Hogan's resurgence in health and vitality? The answer lies in two therapeutic compounds found in cannabis: THC and CBD.

These compounds have become Hogan's newfound allies in his journey toward health and wellness. Before this transformation, Hogan was waging a relentless war against chronic pain. His solace, albeit temporary and inadequate, came in the form of prescribed medications like Tylenol, Advil and Aleve. Yet, these proved ineffective in the long run, leaving Hogan in search of more sustainable relief.

"CBD and THC really changed the game for my sleep, the inflammation, the way my wrists and my joints hurt. Across the board, it helped me with my health," Hogan discloses. This turning point marked a critical shift in Hogan's wellness journey. No longer bound by the constraints of pain, he began to experience a quality of life he hadn't known in years.

Down To Business

So profound has been Hogan's experience with THC and CBD that he decided to take his journey a step further. Drawing inspiration from fellow icons like Mike Tyson and Ric Flair, Hogan has decided to launch his own brand of THC and CBD products. This venture, undertaken in partnership with Carma HoldCo—the company behind "Tyson Ranch 2.0" and "Ric Flair Drip"—is an extension of his commitment to promoting healthier, safer alternatives to traditional prescription medications.

"I instantly wanted to get on the team because you use CBD for energy, for sleep, for fitness," Hogan confesses. "It's a logical extension of where I already was but this is the safe way to approach things instead of that wild card way of doctor's prescription stuff. It just didn't make sense anymore."

Chad Bronstein, president of Carma HoldCo, shares Hogan's enthusiasm for their joint venture. Not only do they aim to provide THC and CBD products, but they also plan to introduce an intriguing range of functional mushrooms and other health and wellness products.

"Their [Hogan, Tyson and Flair's] stories are part of the reason why people are being more open to utilizing these specific products," Bronstein affirms.

With this new venture, Hogan hopes to change the narrative around CBD and THC, not just for himself, but for others in the wrestling industry and beyond. "I think it's something that would help the WWE, the wrestlers right now, especially now with as hard as they're running. They're tearing their bodies up and working really hard. So I'm really excited about this," Hogan reveals.

While there's no official launch date as yet for the new line of health products, Hogan's unwavering dedication and excitement for the venture signal the beginning of a new era. It's a testament to the wrestling legend's tenacity: even at the age of 69, Hogan is not just surviving, but thriving, ready to redefine the world of health and wellness. And, as he's proven time and again, when Hogan sets out to conquer a new domain, he does so with an indomitable spirit that is nothing short of extraordinary.
