Did You Say Weed-Infused Ketchup? Fatburger And Kiva Team Up For The Ultimate 4/20 'Canndiment'

California-based cannabis edibles maker Kiva Confections has announced a unique partnership with the iconic burger chain Fatburger, owned by FAT Brands Inc FAT, to celebrate the upcoming 4/20 holiday.

The collaboration will see the launch of a limited-edition Kiva x Fatburger THC-infused ketchup, aiming to enhance the culinary experience of Fatburger's famous burgers and fries. This first-of-its-kind cannabis ketchup will be available from April 6th at participating Artist Tree and Sweet Flower Los Angeles locations.

The partnership between the two nationally recognized brands comes as interest in cannabis continues to grow; by 2030, the number of cannabis consumers in the country is projected to reach nearly 71 million. This collaboration aims to further Kiva's mission of advancing the conversation around cannabis normalization in California and beyond.

Kristi Palmer, co-founder of Kiva Confections, expressed her enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, "We can’t think of a better partner for this than our favorite West Coast burger chain." She emphasized that both Kiva and Fatburger are California-founded institutions, making this collaboration an ideal way for cannabis fans to celebrate 4/20 and for the "cannacurious" to try cannabis one fry at a time.

The Kiva x Fatburger Ketchup contains 10mg of THC per packet, making it the ultimate "canndiment" for Fatburger's made-to-order burgers and fries ahead of the popular 4/20 holiday.

Taylor Fischer, vice president of marketing for Fatburger, commented on the collaboration, saying that Kiva was the perfect fit due to their strong California fan base and unmatched quality in the cannabis edibles space. Fischer compared Kiva's reputation in cannabis edibles to Fatburger's status in the burger industry, adding, "Our special sauce will be sure to take the munchie game to a higher level."

The Kiva x Fatburger Infused Ketchup will be available for purchase at select Artist Tree and Sweet Flower Los Angeles locations for a limited time only, retailing at $5 while supplies last.
