Xylem Inc. extends exchange offers for 3.550% Senior Notes due 2016 and 4.875% Senior Notes due 2021

announced today that it has extended the expiration date of its offers to exchange all outstanding 3.550% Senior Notes due 2016 and 4.875% Senior Notes due 2021 (the “Old Notes”) for 3.550% Senior Notes due 2016 and 4.875% Senior Notes due 2021, respectively, which have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Registered Notes”). As a result of the extension, the exchange offers are now scheduled to expire at 11:59 p.m., New York City time, on July 23, 2012, unless further extended.
