Traders Who Live and Die For Volatility Can Find Constant Movement on Nadex Binaries

On a recent Stocks and Jocks Radio Show (8/29/14), Darrell Martin spoke with host Tom Haugh about some of the ins and out of trading with Nadex. It was mentioned how traders live and die for volatility and when you think about it, they do. If the market isn’t moving, the trades aren’t happening.

Martin said that if the market is really moving, you can trade spreads on Nadex. That is how you can potentially make the most money. He said that binaries are in and of themselves volatile.

For some traders, they may see the market as having lost all of its movement by midmorning, but if you’re trading binaries on Nadex, you can potentially have contracts to trade hour after hour. An ITM contract can be bought in order to collect the premium and instead of waiting days or weeks to collect, you can do it every single hour on Nadex.

What about slow days? Buy a contract a couple of ticks above or below the market and collect the premium. Someone is willing to pay the premium and you are willing to collect the premium. You don’t have to sit there waiting for a week. You might have to wait 30 minutes, but more than likely, it won’t be longer than about 15 minutes.

Haugh asked Martin what his average time in a trade was and he replied that during the day, he usually traded 15 minutes before the hour closes. Contracts expire at the end of each hour, so if you don’t have a lot of time to trade, trading binaries is probably your best bet.
