Financial Astrology – QTWW's 40% Move

Quantum Fuel engages in the design, development , and production of packaged fuel systems for alternative fuel vehicle applications.  The company also provides powertrain engineering, electronic control, software strategies, and system integration for hybrid and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV).  The company holds stock in Fisker Automotive, a competitor to Tesla Motors.  Their prototype vehicle, the Fisker Karma, has met some karma of its own with recent setbacks to the financial status of the company, and Storm Sandy that destroyed 300 Karma's ready to ship overseas last Fall (they really need to change the name of that car!)  The automaker has some snazzy designs along with good engineers who came from BMW.   Fisker is looking for a buyer and there are rumors of offers coming from Europe and Hong Kong.

Jupiter is transiting the sign of the Sun in QTWW's chart and Saturn will have a nine month positive influence to the Sun, suggesting an acquisition is likely.  The long term picture for Quantum looks very promising as the North Node is now rising to the Midheaven, often this shows opportunity for an upswing.  Quantum has likely put in a bottom, and for a company that used to trade in the $800′s this is good news!

We are watching for an entry level and will send a trade alert when the setup looks good.

Here is the updated chart of QTWW as it missed my level by 2 cents. It then rallied over 40% from that level to Friday's close of $5.06. At this point we think it will pullback and offer another chance to get involved with this trade and will send a trade alert to subscribers outlining the next trade.
