Facebook's Blow-by-Blow Updates.
Just before the official Facebook "Home" app for android is released, an update for Facebook messenger has been rolled out. Giving users an experience of what they might expect from the Home app. The bubble head or the chat bubble, appears whenever an incoming chat message is received by the messenger. It appears almost anywhere, and whatever you are doing with your android phone or gadget. The idea here is that you'll get an easy access to the Facebook's messenger whenever a message is received. You'll know right away who the message is from, and it's up to you to decide whether to reply asap or just continue with what you're doing.
The Market Competition
The same feature was showcased with the Facebook Home software when Mark Zuckerberg announced it's release for Android. The integration of the Home app together with the messenger comes hand in hand to provide a much better and innovative user experience. The Home app is rumored to be a new vessel for marketing spots. Since Facebook has now the capacity to identify what the user is doing or interest that you might have, don't be too surprised if an advertisement feed would show up straight to your home screen right after your friends photo flashes in, or after another status update made by your sister. This is a great opportunity for Facebook to bring in more direct marketing investment since advertisements and apps don't have to be too dependent on Google's Play Store for exposure. But still, even with all these ads foreseen to invade your home screen, there's no denying that Facebook is bringing in BIG things for android. The "Happening" tag of how this social media giant changes everyone's lives is still at work and there's no stopping it. As an Android Fan, I think these changes are really impressive and I can't wait to see more of what they can do.
