The Monthly Trading Service finished the week in cash after closing all positions profitably during the wild trading week the market gave us.

We closed 3 Iron Condors and 1 put spread for a +9.25% monthly gain while leaving 20% of the portfolio in cash at all times.

The recent migration of the strategy to back month options has drastically reduced portfolio volatility and risk.

Weekly Trading Service Commentary:

Our SPX Bull Put Credit Spread expired for +4.17% gain on Friday. We were in the trade for a total of 4 days. We were unable to Iron Condor the trade by selling a call spread because the market never gave us an opportunity to do so. No worries, we are happy with a +4.17% return for the week.

We deployed a new Bull Put Spread during Friday's trading on the S&P for the next weekly opex, Nov 2. The S&P looks to be forming a bottom, even if only short term, around the 1400 level. We will try to Iron Condor our current Nov2 spread if the market provides the opportunity this coming week.
