Private equity firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co said that it plans to raise a new private equity fund. KKR, however, refused to give any timeline for the fund's genesis. The firm also said that it still has $5 billion left from its previous fund raised in 2006. Scott Nuttall, a KKR executive, said, “We do believe we have enough capital to conduct our business in private equity in North America.” Nuttall further said, “At some point we'll start a fund-raising process for our North American private equity fund but as we sit here today we have enough capacity to conduct the business.” The firm said that it has a very healthy pipeline. According to Reuters, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts currently trades on Euronext, but is in the process of moving to the New York stock exchange. The firm plans to sell $500 million of new units after its listing on NYSE.
