The Wall Street Journal
reported last night
that Libyan rebels have hijacked Muammar Gadhafi's phone network, and have begun to re-establish communications for themselves. The new network will give more than 2 million Libyans their first access to the outside world after the Libyan dictator cut phone and Internet service approximately one month ago. The network has the support of other Middle Eastern countries. The network, which first started on April 2, will allow the Libyan rebels to communicate with each other and communicate with other rebels from hundreds of miles away.
