5 Indicators That We Are Currently Embarking on the Great Shift

In Part 3, I shared how the concept of consciousness and our connection to Earth is a critical piece of the puzzle often left out by 2012 mainstream information and scientists. In this post I'll share the key collective experiences that are manifesting in response to this transition we're now making. The impacts of this shift are likely to be felt up till 2016 when our solar system has made the full shift.

The Great Shift, Part 4: Growing Evidence

1. The Global Economic Crisis

We are witnessing an inherently flawed economic system that is destined to implode on itself. The debt bubble that has been continually inflated with fiat currency (paper and digital money backed by nothing) and expanded by the fractional reserve banking system has created a ticking financial time bomb.  All the money that has been pumped into our economies in the form of banking bailouts, stimulus packages and quantitative easing measures is only prolonging the inevitable and making matters far worse. The likely result is hyperinflation.

During hyperinflation, the average person without a solid financial education on how to protect and grow their money and assets is likely to see their wealth reduced to a mere fraction of what it was. We'll begin to see more and more evidence of this throughout 2011 and into 2012.

2. An Increase In Natural Disasters

As our solar system is in the process of moving into a new position in the galaxy, the electromagnetic fields of the planets in our solar system are being affected. Independent scientists and researchers such as Gregg Braden have proven that the Earth's magnetic field is at the lowest it's been in the past 2,000 years, making it more susceptible to solar influences. The result of this is the poles are now melting, diluting our oceans which creates significant changes in the Earth's climate and weather conditions.

In last year alone there were 115 significant natural disasters across the world caused by Earth and climatic changes compared to a reported 38 back in 1985. In 2011, there has already been at 6 events of a large scale (to see the history of natural disasters click here). As we continue through this great shift, we will continue to experience increased occurrences of climate/natural disasters.

It's important to note that NASA and NOAA have publicly stated that solar flares and sunspots will hit their maximums between now and 2013.  They've even gone so far as to say that we might face a national electrical black-out due to these solar storms.  And if you follow the “Comet Elenin” story, then you already suspect we are in for a wild ride.

3. Food Shortages

The extreme weather conditions during 2012 has of course, had a big impact on agricultural production. The shortage of supply in key commodities such as wheat and sugar is causing food prices to skyrocket. In Forbes magazine at the end of 2010, they reported last year alone that the cost had gone up as follows:

• Corn: Up 63%
• Wheat: Up 84%
• Soybeans: Up 24%
• Sugar: Up 55%

4. Time Feels Like It's Speeding Up

As these issues weren't enough to contend with! The pace of life feels like it's speeding up and it isn't our imagination. More than ever we now find ourselves saying there just aren't enough hours in the day or quite simply we just don't have time, yet we still have the same 24 hours in a day that we had in previous decades.

The Schumann Resonance

In 1952, German physicist Prof. W.O Schumann of the Technical University of Munich found that there were naturally occurring electromagnetic waves between the Earth's surface and the top layer of our atmosphere. He measured these electromagnetic waves at a frequency of 7.83 Hz which is come to be known as the Schumann Resonance. In 1979 his successor, König took Schumann's investigation further to identify that our brainwaves have exactly the same frequency of 7.83 Hz, i.e. We resonate with the Earth's pulse (our biorhythms).

Since 1980 the frequency of the Earth's pulse has increased and today it now measures 12 Hz and biorhythms have adjusted accordingly. It offers a very logical explanation as to why our perception of linear time is increasing – we perceive 24 hours as being more like 16 in conjunction with the frequency increase.

5. A Growing Interest In Spirituality

All these collective experiences are urging people to find peace in amidst the mayhem. It also explains why increasing numbers are taking an active interest in universal spirituality now more so than ever. People are developing an understanding of their spiritual selves and developing their connection to the universal force of love and wisdom. When we acknowledge this forgotten aspect of self, we start asking questions of the world around us. Our eyes are opened as you start to realise that perhaps life isn't what you had been told it was for all these years.

I can understand those who have not yet become aware of their higher consciousness or choose not to; the topics above may seem rather pessimistic and gloomy, but unfortunately, it is the current reality we exist in. Our elevated consciousness is what gives us a strong foundation to understand the transition we are currently making as we go through this great shift.
