Voyager Mobile, which resells airtime on the Sprint
S
network, finally launched Sunday after last weeks reported "malicious attack" on the
company's web site
. The company is offering an unlimited talk and text plan for $19 per month, with no contract. Phones are priced from $119 for a basic Samsung M370 Flip Phone to $549 for the Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch. Voyager Mobile is run by 22-year old John Mardini, who started the company because he was tired of paying too much for his own cell phone service. While Voyager claims nationwide service, it currently is signing up subscribers only in Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia.
