Andrew Koslow, EVP, Strategic Transactions/General Counsel: Mr. Koslow is Executive Vice President of Strategic Transactions and General Counsel for Folio Financial, Inc. At Folio, he is leading the firm’s internationalization and block chain initiatives among other business/product development efforts. He has held previous positions as General Counsel, EVP-Strategic Development, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Board Director at financial services and technology firms such as D.E. Shaw Financial Technology, FarSight Financial Services and Penson Australia. He was also in private practice with White & Case and Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison.
Mr. Koslow has built many start-up businesses in the U.S., Asia and Australia. He has core expertise in M&A, joint-venture, and corporate partnering transactions as well as tremendous expertise in blockchain and artificial intelligence technology, equity/debt capital issuance, IPOs and venture finance.
He has also served on boards of directors, advisory boards, and as a senior executive in the financial services, financial technology, and other technology sectors for more than 20 years. Today Mr. Koslow is a member of the Digital Asset Regulatory Taskforce and several other industry groups that are focused on newer technologies.
Mr. Koslow holds a JD from the NYU School of Law, an MA/BA from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a degree from IEP (Paris).
