Nicole van Rensburg is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Medicinals, a family-owned medical marijuana business with operations in multiple states. As an early entrant in the cannabis industry, Nicole and the executive management team have guided the company through several of the most competitive, state-run vetting and selection processes. Nicole has been featured as an industry thought leader for USA Today, Chicago Tribune, The Marijuana Policy Project, The National Conference of State Legislatures, and Crain’s Chicago Business. Prior to cofounding her medical marijuana businesses, Nicole co-managed several family healthcare businesses that provide mobile neurological, ultrasound, allergy, and asthma testing on a national basis. Nicole holds a Bachelors of Business Administration from Emory University, where she graduated with honors, and completed her Masters of Business Administration as a scholarship recipient at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
