Kyle Barich has joined Holistic Industries, one of the largest private cannabis companies, as Chief Marketing Officer. His role is to support the growth of Liberty Cannabis, the Holistic retail dispensary chain, and help build the Holistic Greenhouse of Brands—a broad brand portfolio attracting huge customer segments in differentiated ways—ultimately helping lead the growing value of Holistic Industries.
The Greenhouse of Brands includes Garcia Hand Picked- Jerry Garcia’s authentic and well received celebrity cannabis brand, Do Drops- the approachable edible, Strane-highlighting craft cannabis at scale and Cannaceutica- the first true healthcare brand in the cannabis industry, backing every claim with evidence. Prior to joining Holistic, Kyle Barich was leading teams, brands, clients and advertising agencies for more than 25 years. Most recently, Kyle was the CEO of CDM, one of the largest healthcare advertising agencies in the world serving major Pharma and Biotech clients like Pfizer, Amgen, Novartis and Biogen. Earlier in his career, Barich led the launch of dozens of market-changing healthcare brands including the global launch of Pfizer’s Viagra. The team’s efforts changed the conversation from impotence to erectile dysfunction (ED), from stigmatized to medical, and illustrates how we aspire to help the cannabis industry evolve.
Kyle feels fortunate to be able to bring together his varied experiences in executive leadership, professional communications, creative development, corporate strategy, partner relations and healthcare along with the fact that he’s always been a deadhead and a fan of the plant. Kyle Barich is a graduate of the University of Michigan and spends most of his time in Pennington NJ and New York City.
