Chloe Villano® is a cannabis industry pioneer that helped establish Denver and the entire state of Colorado as one of the leading industry locales in the world.

An entrepreneurial executive and business consultant, Chloe first worked to build the medical cannabis industry in Colorado and then worked in implementing recreational cannabis statewide. Ms. Villano consulted hundreds of businesses as the first Colorado cannabis business consultant. Her vast industry knowledge and expertise led top government agencies to seek her guidance in regulatory inception. As the founder of the Cannabis Business Association®, Villano offers national policy consulting and legislative expertise to other states and various government agencies across the United States and beyond.

Ms. Villano pioneered the mergers and acquisitions process for the Colorado cannabis industry, and her company was the first consulting firm to successfully sell and merge cannabis businesses under implemented regulations. One of the most sought-after cannabis consultants in the industry, Villano has sold, advised, expanded, and built businesses/brands totaling over a billion dollars in sales. She has performed executive services for hundreds of cannabis businesses nationally. Chloe has created some of the first industry business valuations, business procedures, hiring procedures, compliance verification procedures, and more. She has heavily influenced the hospitality side of the industry with historic cannabis events, including the Cannabis Business Awards®, the premier red carpet award show in the industry. In 2012, She opened Club 64 America’s first legal cannabis club making international
headlines.

In 2009, Villano founded Clover Leaf University®, the first cannabis university approved, regulated, and licensed by the Colorado Department of Higher Education’s Private Occupational School Board. Chloe authored the curriculum, including four books. She developed certifications through Clover Leaf University® that provide safety and compliance training to cannabis
vendors, cultivators, and product manufacturers, including the first job and cannabis industry training certifications, setting the industry’s educational standard. CLU® has educated, coached, and trained a wide variety of business professionals and developed countless business procedures and best practices for the industry.

Villano’s work has gotten noticed, leading to features in many publications, including People Magazine’s Marijuana Millionaires and The International Business Times naming her as one of the 20 most influential people in the cannabis industry. “Cannabiz,” based on Villano’s life, won the International Screen Writers Association best script at the world famous Sundance Film Festival in 2019. The Rolling Stone Culture Council has recently appointedVillano to their group, recognizing her strong voice within the burgeoning cannabis industry.
