Brett is the Managing Partner of Skyvest Partners LP. Skyvest is the cannabis focused investment company of a single family office. Brett is responsible for originating and executing on investments & acquisitions in cannabis. He has evaluated, and executed venture capital & private equity transactions for the company. He provides strategic advice, industry insight & guides the portfolio companies in capital formation, joint ventures, & commercial agreements.

Brett was a Founding Member & Managing Director of Phyto Partners LP. At Phyto Brett was primarily responsible for sourcing and structuring new investment opportunities, collaborating with senior management of existing portfolio companies on various strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and co-managing Phyto Partners portfolio of over 30 investments. Brett sits on the board and advises many companies in the cannabis sector.

During his 5 year tenure at Phyto Partners he has help create Phyto Partners into one of the preeminent venture capital funds in the space, where Phyto Partners has been recognized as a Top Cannabis Investment fund by Forbes.

Prior to Phyto Partners, Brett has over 20 years of accomplished deal performance and has been involved in close to a billion dollars of transactions involving a wide variety of mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, turnarounds, licensing, branding over various sectors and financial cycles. He has also held executive roles and has been involved in founding, structuring, operating, funding & strategy at both startups and established companies.
