iPath Dow Jones-UBS Cotton Subindex Total Return ETN (NYSE: BAL) led the gainers among the ETFs on Friday, with an increase of 4.81%. This was the fourth trading session in a row that BAL closed higher.
iPath Dow Jones-UBS Sugar Subindex Total Return ETN (NYSE: SGG) traded 3.63% higher on the strength in sugar futures. Sugar futures jumped more than 3% today.
Direxion Daily Emerging Markets Bear 3x Shares(ETF) (NYSE: EDZ) jumped 3.24%, and closed at $21.67. Petroleo Brasileiro SA (ADR) (NYSE: PBR) is a component of the MSCI Emerging Markets Index, and it dropped 1.01%. China Life Insurance Company Ltd. (ADR) (NYSE: LFC) fell 1.05%.
PowerShares DB Agriculture Double Long ETN (NYSE: DAG) gained 2.49%, as wheat futures continued to move higher. On Friday, wheat gained approximately 3%. DAG closed at $15.24, and had a volume of 670K traded shares.
