June consumer confidence data was released earlier than expected, and it was weaker than economists anticipated. The reading came in at 58.5, versus estimates of 60.8. Despite the miss, the indexes are holding onto their gains. The Dow is up 56points, the S&P 500 is up 5 points and the NASDAQ is up 13 points.
