Ian Burnstein - President & Co-Founder
Ian Burnstein is a Co-Founder and President of the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. In addition he also is the co-founder of the Storage Business Owners Alliance (SBOA). SBOA is a buying group for self-storage owners and operators that creates savings on expenses for self-storage facilities and is utilized by more than 15,000 locations nationally. With Ian’s expertise in building a robust buyers group business model, and Jason Ranzick’s expertise in content ecosystem development, the two paired their entrepreneurial spirits to create the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. Ian has also developed, owned and managed storage facilities since 2001 and is a member of the Michigan bar. While in law school he was the editor-in-chief of his law review. Ian has been an active principal in more than $2,000,000,000 of real estate investments and has served in an advisory capacity in numerous other real estate transactions. In May of 2018 Ian became a TIGER21 Chair in Detroit, Michigan.

Jason Raznick - Co-Founder & Chief Zinger
Jason Raznick is a passionate entrepreneur and the founder of Benzinga, a financial media company based in the heart of downtown Detroit, as well as the co-founder of the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. His innovations in fintech are quoted by the Merriam-Webster dictionary and have fueled the vision behind the Detroit Fintech Association. Benzinga currently educates over 25 million readers in over 125 countries each month. Raznick has been quoted throughout the media in places such as CNBC, Fox Business, NPR and Wall Street Journal. After multiple cannabis companies approached Jason looking for suggestions on valuable service providers, Jason joined forces with Ian Burnstein to create the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance.

Patrick Lane - VP of Partnerships
Patrick Lane is the Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at Benzinga and the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. Patrick is responsible for sourcing all of the alliance service providers, onboarding all event partners and sponsors, and developing the audience for Benzinga’s series of events. Patrick has years of experience working with Fortune 500 clients in the financial services and life sciences spaces. Previously, he was an actor of stage and screen, with roles in the hit TV shows Chicago Fire and Chicago PD among others, as well as various roles on Broadway and off-Broadway productions.

Neal Hamilton - VP of Growth
Neal Hamilton is the Vice President of Growth at Benzinga and the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. He manages and promotes solutions that help investors, day traders and businesses find actionable information and achieve their financial goals. Before joining Benzinga, Neal worked in product management for insurance and broker-dealer compliance solutions. Today he leads all marketing operations at Benzinga. Jessica Johnson - VP of Operations
Jessica Johnson is the Vice President of Operations at the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. With 20 years of experience, her skillset has developed to include operational and financial acumen, growth and profitability of organizations, digital & social media marketing expertise, event management, and competitive market research and analysis. Jessica is a self-managed individual who thrives in both team and fast-paced environments. She has done either project-based work or worked directly for large organizations such as Smoothie King, StretchLab, Venus Fashion, Global Franchise Group, Papa Murphy’s Pizza, Walmart, and MaggieMoo’s Ice Cream. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing.

John Price - EVP & CFO
John Price is EVP and CFO of the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. In addition, he is the president of Storage Pros Management, LLC. (SPM) and its affiliated companies, with responsibility for the full breadth of company operations and financial performance. He is also co-founder and principal of Equitable Advisors, LLC., which offers capital investment and business advisory services to improve client performance. John has more than 20 years of experience in finance, treasury and operations. He joined SPM from GMAC (now Ally Financial), a $173 billion diversified financial services provider, where he led global liquidity management and structured financing activities. Previously, John spent ten years at Ford Motor Company and its Visteon Corporation spin-off, leading finance and treasury activities including financial planning and analysis, subsidiary financing, operations finance and cash flow forecasting. He began his career as a commercial real estate lender at Comerica Bank. John earned his Master of Business Administration with High Distinction and a concentration in finance and accounting from University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He earned a bachelor’s degree, with high honor, in finance from Michigan State University.

Kimberly O’Connell - SVP and Controller
Kim O’Connell is SVP and Controller for the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. In addition, she serves as Vice President & Controller of Storage Pros Management, LLC. and its affiliated companies. In this role, Kim’s wide-ranging responsibilities include financial reporting, cash management, payroll functions, expense review and process development. Kim works under the guidance of the CFO to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the accounting department are running smoothly. With more than 17 years of accounting experience, Kim has worked in a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing and entertainment. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University.

Alec Cohen - Operations & Marketing Manager
Alec Cohen is the Operations and Marketing Manager for the Benzinga Cannabis Alliance. Alec has been involved for many years with creative marketing, having worked as photographer, videographer, and designer for The Michigan Daily, the student newspaper at the University of Michigan. In his past experience, Alec has also worked for U.S. Senator Gary Peters re-election campaign as well as the Detroit Tigers. Alec graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Michigan.
