Michael C. Thomsett is an active options trader and has been in the market since 1976. He has also written dozens of books, including seven on the topic of options trading. Among these are Getting Started in Options (currently in its 8th edition, Wiley, over 250,000 copies sold) and Options for the Conservative Investor (FT Press, currently in its 2nd edition). Thomsett also writes about candlestick charting and recently published The Bloomberg Visual Guide to Candlestick Charting (Wiley). He writes on other technical subjects and a range of other investing and trading strategies, and blogs in several places on the same range of topics. He writes and trades fulltime.
