Vetr Crowd Upgrades Wal-Mart, But Just 64% Of The Crowd Are Bullish

It has been a rough 2015 for retail investors, particularly those who have held on to their Wal-Mart stock.

Since the start of 2015, shares of Wal-Mart have lost close to 30 percent. With less than a month left in the year, the Vetr crowd turned slightly more positive on the retailer and upgraded their rating to 3.5 stars out of a possible five.

Sixty-four percent of the Vetr crowd's ratings are bullish while the crowd-sourced price target of $61.96 implies an upside of just over 3 percent.

Meanwhile, the Vetr crowd has an equal 3.5-star rating on shares of Target Corporation TGT. However, the crowd is more bullish in terms of recommendation as only 6.3 percent of the crowd's ratings are bearish. In addition, the crowd-sourced price target of $77.25 implies an upside of more than 6 percent.

Finally, the Vetr crowd is more confident in Costco Wholesale Corporation COST's outlook given the four-star rating and crowd-sourced price target of $176.40 which implies an upside of more than 8 percent. In addition, 83 percent of the crowd's ratings are bullish on the wholesaler.
