Apple Inc. AAPL is not expected to reveal its plans for the next iPhone before September, but analysts are already predicting key new features and selling points.

Apple enthusiasts likely remember that the company used Siri to sell the iPhone 4S and Touch ID to sell the iPhone 5S. How will this year's new features compare?

Stronger Body And Display

Global Equities Research analyst Trip Chowdhry told Benzinga that he thinks Apple will address the problems that caused bendgate.

"The bigger phones are still inclined to bend," said Chowdhry. "You could still see some bend in it. [Apple] could have some internal design changes so it's less prone to bending. I see the glass improving because the current glass is weak."

According to a Forbes contributor translation of an article from Taiwan-based Economic Daily News, Apple might use 7000 series aluminum in the iPhone 6S Plus. This aluminum is reportedly used in the Apple Watch Sport and is said to be 60 percent harder than the aluminum used in the iPhone 6 Plus.

Force Touch

Rumors suggest that Apple is all but guaranteed to bring Force Touch to the iPhone 6S. Analysts agree -- and think it could be a significant addition to Apple's next device.

"I do see Force Touch could be more important going forward," said Chowdhry. "If you look at Macs, Apple Watch, they have Force Touch. I think that could be more critical [for the next iPhone]."

Sean Udall, CIO of Quantum Trading Strategies and author of The TechStrat Report, told Benzinga that there is "a lot you can do with Force Touch." However, he isn't sure that everyday users will get the most out of this new feature. He thinks it will primarily appeal to power users.

Improved Battery And More RAM

Udall also believes that iPhones 6S buyers can look forward to improved battery life.

"[Apple] might double the RAM," said Udall. "No matter what it'll be faster [and offer] more memory. The speed increase is always a big deal. The lot of the stuff is going to be improved. They also typically improve some core functionality with the software."

Multiple Sizes

Chowdhry maintained his belief that Apple will release three new smartphones this fall.

"I do think they could come out with a smaller version, like I mentioned before," said Chowdhry, adding that there could be a new four-inch model as well as the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

Entirely New Camera

Apple acquired LinX, a company that has reportedly built a superior camera for mobile devices, earlier this year. There has been some speculation that its technology could end up in the next iPhone.

"It really does look like there are two cameras on the back of the phone -- it looks like a small aperture camera and a large aperture camera," said Udall, referencing some of the leaked images. "There's probably a whole lot of stuff that you can do if you have two lenses focused on the same thing."

In addition to still photography, Udall thinks the new camera could improve the iPhone's video capabilities.

Intel RealSense 3D Camera

Rob Enderle, principal analyst at Enderle Group, speculated that Apple could add a RealSense 3D Camera from Intel Corporation INTC. Beyond that, he doesn't expect many new features but said that Apple will fix "whatever was kind of broken with the previous product."

"For the most part they're just trying to look better than the S product that preceded it," said Enderle. "Aside from a few folks who will buy [a new iPhone] every year, most buy every other year 'cause it's so expensive, so I don't think they need a lot [of new features]."
