General Mills Expected To Report Single-Digit Growth On Wednesday

General Mills, Inc. (NYSE: GIS) is scheduled to report its fourth quarter financial results on Wednesday before the market opens. Expectations point towards a slight, single-digit increase in earnings.

According to Estimize, the Street is modeling consensus earnings of $0.71 per share on revenue of $4.521 billion, while the crowd is projecting consensus earnings of $0.72 per share on revenue of $4.528 billion. These estimates compare to earnings of $0.67 per share on revenue of $4.284 billion reported in the same quarter last year.

However, the chart above shows that General Mills is more prone to missing estimates than to beating them.
