Barclays Says DirecTV Deal Closure Will 'spur positive earnings revisions', Upgrades Shares To Overweight From Equal-Weight
Barclays also says AT&T is now second to T-Mobile when it comes to which carriers are best positioned to defend earnings or benefit from positive revisions. The bank also says revenues and cost synergies "could positively impact AT&T's bottom line post the imminent close of the DIRECTV transaction are too material to ignore."
