AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc AMC is scheduled to report its first quarter financial results after the market closes on Wednesday, but the stock is barely moving in anticipation of the event.

According to Estimize, the crowd and experts’ expectations coincide. They both expect EPS of $0.09; Main Street anticipated consensus revenue of $657 million, while Wall Street models consensus revenue of $658.94 million.

These estimates imply substantial growth from the EPS of ($0.05) reported in the first quarter of last year, but a market decline in relation to last quarter’s $0.32.

The graph below provides a look back at AMC’s actual earnings versus estimates.

As it can be noticed, there is no clear trend; the company has both beat and missed estimates over the last few quarters.

The second chart shows how estimates have evolved over the quarter. The Street has been quite indecisive in relation to AMC; expectations fell and rose several times, peaking in March, before stabilizing at $0.09.

The Hulu-AMC

A Benzinga article published Wednesday reports that fans of AMC’s "Walking Dead" will need a Hulu membership “to binge-watch the yet to be created Walking Dead spinoff titled ‘Fear The Walking Dead.’

Variety also reported Hulu has secured an exclusive output deal with AMC Networks that will include all episodes of the upcoming series. The publication suggested that the spin-off series could be a ‘slam dunk’ for Hulu and AMC based on the success of the ‘Breaking Bad’ spinoff ‘Better Call Saul.’”
