United Continental, Virgin America, Allegiant Travel Higher Following Bank Of America Upgrades


Shares of United Continental Holdings Inc (NYSE: UAL), Virgin America Inc (NASDAQ: VA) and Allegiant Travel Company (NASDAQ: ALGT) traded higher Thursday following upgrades from Bank of America.

United Continental was upgraded from Underperform to Neutral and recently traded at $65.45, up 2.19 percent.

Virgin America was upgraded from Neutral to Buy and recently traded at $39.81, up 1.38 percent.

Allegiant Travel was upgraded from Neutral to Buy and recently traded at $158.42, up 1.51 percent.

Airline stocks were mixed overall but Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: HA) was showing signs of strength, trading 1.18 percent higher at $24.07.
