Piper Jaffray Sees eBay Holiday Data as Roughly In-Line with Street
In a report published Tuesday, Piper Jaffray analyst Gene Munster reiterated an Overweight rating and $63.00 price target on eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY).
In the report, Piper Jaffray noted, “Holiday-to-Date, ChannelAdvisor data for eBay is up 28% y/y, which is down slightly from 30% growth during the Cyber Five. We believe that quarter to date, ChannelAdvisor is tracking 14-17% higher, which points to Dec-13 results in line with Street estimates (we believe Street is at 11-12% US GMV growth vs. 16% growth in the Sep-13 quarter when ChannelAdvisor was +19% y/y).”
eBay closed on Monday at $51.69.
