Brean Murray Carret reiterated its Buy rating and $32 price target on EMC

on optimism for the company's Flash-based product plan. Brean Murray Carret commented, "Yesterday, EMC hosted held Part II of a discussion of the use of Flash storage in the enterprise – we were left confident in the company's strategy of providing a portfolio of products catering to the hierarchy of application workloads. … Whether it be flash technology in the server, a server appliance network flash presence, or storage network flash (both dedicated & hybrid arrays), EMC has product plans that address all of those needs – with a software architecture that brings it all together." EMC closed at $27.73 on Wednesday.
