Wunderlich Securities has published a research report on Lionsgate
LGF after the full length "Hunger Games"
trailer appeared this morning on
Good Morning America.
In the report, Wunderlich writes, "The first full-length Hunger Games trailer appeared on Good Morning America this morning and is now on iTunes. It largely focuses on the first part of the movie with only hints of the architecture and fascist culture of the capital - a downmarket version of Albert Speer's vision for postwar Berlin. The Hunger Games is a trilogy from author Suzanne Collins in which teenagers in a dystopian North America (Panem) engage in an annual televised fight to death, with the winner securing supplies and food for (in the instance of star Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen) her district. With four movies in queue, execution on Hunger Games should be a game changer for Buy-rated Lionsgate (
LGF)."
Wunderlich maintains its Buy rating and $10 price target on Lionsgate, which is currently trading down $0.02 from Friday's $8.57 closing price.
