Barrington Research Maintains Perform Rating on American Public Education

Barrington Research has reiterated its Perform rating on American Public Education

after third quarter results beat all expectations. According to Barrington Research, “American Public Education reported the financial results of its third quarter ended September 30, in which revenues (beat consensus by $2.8 million) and diluted EPS (beat by $0.18) topped all expectations. In addition, management provided initial Q4/11 guidance that was strong across the board but the high end of diluted EPS guidance ($0.58-0.60) was below the consensus ($0.64).” APEI closed Monday's trading at $34.58 per share.
