According to Goldman Sachs, O'Reilly Automotive
ORLY
saw 1Q sales / expense beat. Goldman Sachs said that it prefers ORLY among its Neutral-rated auto parts retailers given its ongoing, company-specific, boost to same-store sales from integration of legacy CSK stores, and the capacity for significant leverage and working capital-fueled buybacks. “1Q EPS of $0.83 tracked better than our estimate of $0.80, consensus of $0.78, and $0.70 a year ago, on better same-store sales trends, as the business recovered from a tough January. We remain concerned about fading industry tailwinds, including rising fuel prices, making company specific drivers of sales and earnings growth more important than before.” O'Reilly Automotive closed yesterday at $58.55.
